Tap the "Remove Ads" button in the app. It's a one-time purchase that permanently removes all ads. After purchasing, no ads will ever appear — even if you delete and reinstall the app, as long as you restore purchases.
Tap the "Restore Purchases" button in the app's settings or menu. This will check your App Store purchase history and re-apply your Remove Ads purchase at no charge. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used when you originally purchased.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we don't handle payments directly. If you were charged but didn't receive your purchase, please first try "Restore Purchases" in the app. If that doesn't resolve it, you can request a refund directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. You're also welcome to email us and we'll help however we can.
Try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the issue persists, try deleting and reinstalling the app — your Remove Ads purchase can always be restored for free. If you're still having trouble, please email us at matthew@esbrolabs.com and describe what happened. Screenshots are always helpful.
When you first open the app, you'll see a prompt asking whether to allow ad tracking. You can tap "Ask App Not to Track" to opt out of personalized ads. You can also change this at any time in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and toggle off Esbro Labs apps. Non-personalized ads may still appear in the free version.
Yes. Our games are built to play offline, no internet connection is required for normal play. One exception: in Backgammon House, the expert-level AI difficulties (Expert and Master) and Training Mode use an online analysis engine, so those specific features need a connection. The rest of the game is always playable offline. An internet connection may also be used to load ads in the free version.
